What’s the best way to honor the passing of a father figure?

lindsay_lohan576_45dd70b5b52e2.jpgI’d like you guys to go back with me a few months… around November sounds good.

If we can strain to remember that far back in Celebrity History, we can all recall what a dramatic response Lindsay Lohan had about A Prairie Home Companion director Robert Altman’s death. She even went as far as releasing a statement that stated “he was the closest thing to my father and grandfather that I really do believe I’ve had in several years.”

So naturally, she was front row in Manhatten at his memorial service this past Tuesday, right? I mean, we can all picture her in head to toe black, with a veil over her face, quietly weeping while listening to Lily Tomlin, E. L. Doctorow, Harry Belafonte, Julianne Moore, Kevin Kline and Tim Robbins pay their respects to the legend.

Well, according to the New York Posts Page 6, we are all wrong. Turns out that Miss Lohan was a little too busy partying in LA with Jackass star Steve-O. Because we all know there isn’t a better way to honor a cinematic legend than to boogie with a guy that pees on the red carpet. Not to mention, I’m sure that Steve-o is a great companion at AA meetings.
